I wrapped all of my experimental code in CONFIG conditionals.

Under discussion are the "PUTFILELABEL" changes which were preferred by 
some to the "CALLBACK_RELABEL" mechanism.  Both provide a mechanism to 
update the client's copy of the file label.

(The "PUTCLIENTLABEL" changes are a proposed alternative to included RPC 
layer changes providing the same functionality.)
