Ask for nfs API

Hi, everybody.

   I want to ask whether there are some API for NFS to manipulate the read 
and write to the certain file blocks on the server. If there not, what the 
best way for me to reach the goal, do that means I have to write the 
function by myself(I think i have to try to write a stub program on the 
client).
