"planning" - that would be a good idea I guess.
I was actually plan to go to 1.1.0 and switch the default from
subtree_check to no_subtree_check.  But I wasn't planning on a
particular time (I'm open to suggestions and encouragement).

Anyway, I've push all of these into git so they'll be there whenever
the next release is made.
