We have seen exactly the same behaviour. The client uses the credentials
of the first user to access the nfs-mounted filesystem. If that user if
different after a reboot, the credentials also differ.
In our setup only /home is mounted from the network on several lab
machines. So the credentials used to setclientid depend completely on
the first person to walk by and login at the terminal.
