Yes, it's a known problem. No, no patch available yet, apologies. Any
write of 1, 2, or 3 bytes at a page-aligned offset fails. Also
reproduced against a netapp server, so it's probably the client that's
at fault. A git bisect suggests that this started happening after
5c64097aa0f6dc4f27718ef47ca9a12538d62860, but I don't understand that
commit yet.
