[pnfs] CVS gateway node appears to be down/refusing connections

I've been seeing errors like the following for the last few days:

 

% cvs status Makefile

ssh: connect to host anoncvs.citi.umich.edu port 22: Connection refused

cvs [status aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages if
any)

 

% ssh -vvv anoncvs.citi.umich.edu

OpenSSH_3.9p1, OpenSSL 0.9.7a Feb 19 2003

debug1: Reading configuration data /home/fergal/.ssh/config

debug1: Reading configuration data /etc/ssh/ssh_config

debug1: Applying options for *

debug2: ssh_connect: needpriv 0

debug1: Connecting to anoncvs.citi.umich.edu [141.211.133.8] port 22.

ssh: connect to host anoncvs.citi.umich.edu port 22: Connection refused

 

Just wondering if anyone else is seeing this problem?
