[pnfs] Client Hangs on doing ops "after a while"

Hi,
The client seems to hang if ops are done a while after mounting. I'm
looking into this (this is after applying the patch i sent out for
review). From the packet trace, I see that some calls aren't being
replied to. I'll try to figure this out.
