BTW, on the server we took the 2.6.18 tree and ported it to 2.6.24.
Benny is accurate stating that the result wasn't a set of patches that
we could take "as-is" and use them for submission.

The client sessions work contains a more fine-grained set of patches
that can definitely serve as the "basis" for submission.  We still
expect to need to break them down even further.
