[pnfs] CVS tree tagged

Andy, when I try to do that I get the following error:

$ cvs checkout -r pnfs-2-6-18-3-largeio-clientid pnfs
bhalevy at cvs.citi.umich.edu's password:
cvs [server aborted]: cannot write /cvs/CVSROOT/val-tags: Permission denied
