Well, sorry, I'm not having a lot of luck figuring this out.  We also
get this in the logs:

	perl: ldap-nss.c:1323: do_init: Assertion `cfg->ldc_uris[__session.ls_current_uri] != ((void *)0)' failed.

But gitweb.cgi runs fine from the commandline.  I've got the source for
libnss-ldap, but it's not giving me much enlightenment so far.

I turned on ldap to get account information for pnfs people when setting
up the pnfs git repo.  But it was working then.

Hm.  An upgraded libpam-ldap package got installed Sunday, I wonder
whether that triggered the problem.
