I'd prefer we stick with the main branch, not the 2.6.x.y versions.
It's the main branch that development's done against.  So today that'd
be 2.6.21-rc4.

If we keep the patches fairly small, then rebasing to a new kernel
should be a little easier, and we can afford to be pretty aggressive
about keeping up-to-date.
