Hi Rahul
Splitting patches up by file is not really what we want. We want patches
split by functionality.
for instance.
slot_table1.patch removes fs/nfs/nfs41_sessions.h
slot_table7.patch adds include/linux/nfs41_sessions.h
slot_table2.patch changes the only reference to nfs41_sessions.h
this should be 1 patch that moves nfs41_sessions.h from fs/nfs to
include/linux, and it should contain an explanation addressing why you think
it should be moved, not just the fact that you are moving it.
slot_table5.patch is the right idea, here you do one task, but you should
add the first half of slot_table8.patch which declares the bc_attrs field
that you use in slot_table5.patch.
the same with slot_table3.patch. it is also the right idea, one task, but
add the slot_table8.patch which declares the 'slot' field that you use in
slot_table3.patch.
slot_table6.patch and slot_table9.patch are fine.
-->Andy
So, I think the largest patch is 400 odd lines.
