[pnfs] pNFS BoF at SC07

The pNFS BoF at Supercomputing '07 is next week on Wednesday,  
November 14, from 5:30 PM to 7 PM in rooms C4-D1-D2-D3.

I hope plenty of the folks on this list will attend SC07 and the pNFS  
BoF.

I expect there will be a lot of interest in pNFS among SC07 attendees  
-- they are aware that pNFS is likely to have an impact on them.

They will want to hear a little about pNFS, but they will be more  
interested in the pNFS road map.

Accordingly, I hope that when the BoF is over, attendees will have a  
sense of

• where pNFS stands in the IETF,
• progress toward inclusion in the mainline Linux kernel,
• status of the file, block, and object layout efforts, and
• vendor road maps for pNFS.

Of course, I could cook up answers on my own, but it might be better  
if I let, e.g., vendors run this gauntlet for themselves.

Here's the bottom line: if you expect to attend the SC07 and can (or  
should) say something about the pNFS road map, please drop me a line  
and we can make appropriate plans.
