[pnfs] Need a 'little' help

Hi Henk,

My pNFS/pvfs2 code is quite old (although it is still a functioning
prototype). I would not use it in a production environment. Also, I
wouldn't try adding patches to it or getting security to work (since
pvfs2 doesn't support security anyways).

We now have a pNFS prototype based on 2.6.25 (although I haven't kept up
pvfs2 support). Depending on your goals, this might be useful. Are you
looking to implement pNFS extensions? There is always lots of items to
work on. What file system do you want to use/support? If you want to
use pvfs2, then I wouldn't bother with pNFS for now and just use the
pvfs2 client.
